Study: Microbes Consuming Gulf Oil Plume

A newly discovered microbe is thought to be fueling cleanup of the oil plume created in the Gulf of Mexico by the explosion of the Beyond Petroleum-owned Deepwater Horizon drilling rig, according to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory researchers.
