Oil Spill Rig Workers Get up Close and Personal with Metal Eating Superbugs
This is above water, on board the ship at the site of Deepwater Horizon, Mississippi Canyon, Gulf of Mexico. Here the rig workers are working on a piece of equipment, riddled with the metal eating super-bugs! The two central rings on the piece of metal equipment squirm and wriggle with the bug activity, whilst the workers lean all over it. The side grills are also showing signs of the brown nesting the bugs create, which is rising up through the grating, and even attaching itself to the workers trousers. God forbid these creatures ever go airborne. They gain strength in numbers and can eat through anything! There are massive swarms of them within the Gulf of Mexico, Maconda site and they are hell bent on destroying the metal foundations of the capped well casing, and anything else they attach, and insert themselves into.
